Occasionally, if it seems appropriate, shorter term counselling is possible, depending on your situation. Counselling is usually focused around a single issue.
Counselling can be a very beneficial way of getting through a tough time or making sense of something which seems to be holding you back. Regular sessions provide confidential reflection and support for you to shed new light on your situation, thoughts and feelings. It can also be an important introduction into more in-depth therapy and indeed a new, helpful, way of thinking about things.
We can work together to decide on a course of treatment that is appropriate to you and your circumstances. I usually suggest a minimum commitment of 12 weeks where possible.
