Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic Therapy

Regular sessions give time and space to discover meaningful insights
and make lasting changes, especially in a busy world.

  • Psychodynamic Therapy is in person/face to face and usually long-term/open ended.
  • Sessions are on the same day and time, weekly.
  • Each session is 50 minutes.

Psychodynamic Therapy allows exploration and developments to be profound and unrestricted.  For those who are interested in deeper enquiry and in really understanding themselves others and their world, it is meaningful way of taking good care of some of the most important aspects of being human and often leads to a life-long sense of personal resilience.

We work together with the unique elements of your individual journey, including stepping into the unknown and facing the new.  The process can sometimes be challenging yet deeply rewarding and invaluable. Clients report improvement in their outlook, motivation, behaviour, relationships and understanding, not only for themselves but those around them.

My approach offers a committed, robust and reliable environment, where trust and confidence can develop to explore what needs to be found.  I meet diversity and difference with sensitivity and interest and welcome people from all backgrounds, cultures and circumstances.

In all cases your particular hopes and circumstances are an important part of the discussion. We regularly review your progress and agree on the duration of ongoing treatment together.  Endings and breaks are sensitively planned wherever possible.
