My practice is informed by deeply lived life experience. Born into an multicultural, neurodivergent family I have lived and worked among many people and places internationally and truly understand the challenges of navigating profound change, loss and revival. I offer a wealth of personal and professional experience from holding therapeutic, arts and educational roles with children, adults and organizations for over 30 years, including within the NHS.
In addition to my private practice I am a member of Wessex Counselling and Psychotherapy Training in Frome where I work as a Seminar Leader and Tutor on their Clinical/Diploma trainings.
I regularly attend Professional Supervision with a Senior Jungian Analyst and actively undertake post qualification training, studies (CPD) and reflective peer-supervision to ensure my practice is ethical, up to date and relevant.
I recognize the impact of socio-political, spiritual and cultural forces on identity, experiences, relationships and beliefs. I am interested in the dynamic interplay between inner worlds and outer realities, the personal and the collective and the potential of dreams, imagination, art, and storytelling as valuable sources of insight, empancipation and transformation.
Some of the CPD courses and trainings I have undertaken include (but are not limited to) studies in: Neuropsychology, Neurodiversity, Couples therapy, Sexuality and Gender, Eating Disorders, Self-harm, Psychosis, Jungian Studies, Ethics, Diversity and inclusion, Socio-politics, Culture, Race & Identity, Active Imagination, Trauma, Grief, Narcissism, Group work, Dreams, Oppression, Decolonising Psychotherapy, Marginalization, Critical Realism, Shadow work, Spirituality and Faith, Transpersonal Psychology, Embodiment and Dysphoria.
